Thoughts and prayers are with Decatur Police Officers shot in the line of duty

Two Decatur Police Officers suffered gunshot injuries during an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of October 12 on E. Walnut St.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the officers for a full and speedy recovery, and we thank our Decatur Police Officers who risk their lives every day to keep us safe.
