City of Decatur providing $1.2 million in COVID-19 small business relief funds

The City of Decatur is accepting applications from small businesses and the hospitality industry for funding to help alleviate the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Decatur Small Business Rapid Relief Funds program will provide $1.2 million in funding to Decatur businesses.  Guidelines, qualifications, and an application for funding can be found at: https://www.decaturil.gov/public-information/city-of-decatur-covid-19-business-impact/  Applications will be accepted until January 6, 2021 at 3:00 PM and all funds must be disbursed by January 30, 2021.  Eligible assistance includes mortgage expenses, utility expenses, reimbursement of PPE supplies, and outdoor dining expenses. 

RENT/MORTGAGE AND UTILITY ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS

The City of Decatur in partnership with Dove Financial Assistance is providing rent/mortgage and utility assistance to residents that have experienced loss of income due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Assistance is provided in the form of a grant paid directly to the landlord, mortgage company, and/or utility.  More information can be found at the following link: https://www.decaturil.gov/city-of-decatur-and-dove-partnership-to-assist-residents-with-covid-relief/
