Changes to Decatur's garbage, recycling and yard waste collection

The Decatur City Council recently approved changes to both the rates and some of the procedures for garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection in the city.  These changes took effect with the start of the new year.  The city developed a comprehensive website ( https://decaturil.gov/garbage-recycling/) that explains changes to rates, summarizes changes to collection procedures, and gives contact information for the haulers.  If you have any questions about the changes, please contact your hauler.  In addition, you can contact representatives of the city with contact information at the following link: https://decaturil.gov/departments/city-administration/contact-us/.
